Your Season is a seasonal colour analysis guide and personal style resource. We use the 12-season system to match your natural colouring to a curated palette of clothing, makeup, and accessories that will make you look and feel your best.

What is seasonal colour analysis?

Seasonal colour analysis is a method of identifying the colours that harmonise most naturally with a person's skin tone, hair, and eye colour. The core insight is that everyone's colouring sits somewhere along two axes: warm to cool (the undertone axis) and light to deep (the value axis), with a secondary dimension of clear to muted (chroma).

The original four-season system (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) was developed in the 1970s and popularised by colour consultant Carole Jackson in her 1980 book Color Me Beautiful. The modern 12-season system subdivides each family into three seasons, giving a finer, more nuanced set of palettes that account for the full range of human colouring.

Each of the 12 season pages on this site is built around three things: a colour palette that reflects the season's characteristic tones, a style profile explaining how to apply those colours in everyday dressing, and a curated product selection drawn from affiliate retailers whose inventory aligns with the palette.

   Each season page shows the core palette — the specific shades of every hue that will flatter you most. The palette is the foundation: anything in these tones will work for you.

3. Shop curated recommendations

   Clothing, makeup, hair, and accessories are all filtered to palette-matched options. Every product recommendation has been checked against the season's colour profile before being included.

4. Build your capsule wardrobe

   Use the Wardrobe section on each season page as a starting point for a coherent, mix-and-match wardrobe. Everything listed is chosen to work together within the season's palette.
